What It Means to Be Employee-Owned at Tyme4u

Meet the Dream Team - Brooke, Jess & Sophie!

At Tyme4u, we do things a little differently. Instead of a traditional management structure, we’re proud to be an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT) — meaning that the people who work here own the business together.

Shared responsibility, shared success

Being employee-owned means that everyone at Tyme4u has a say in how we run the business. We don’t have managers — we have a team of equals who collaborate, support one another and make collective decisions about how we move forward.

This includes every member of our staff. While Brooke is not a trustee director, she is still an equal and valued member of the team, with the same voice and involvement in our employee-owned structure as everyone else.

Clients are welcome to communicate with any member of our team — we all work together to provide the same high level of care, support, and consistency. And Hannah can still be contacted directly at hannah@tyme4u.co.uk if preferred.

It’s an approach that encourages openness, accountability, and respect. Every person’s voice matters, and we believe that when people feel heard and valued, they do their best work — especially in a caring, people-focused service like ours.

What is a Trustee Director?

As part of our EOT structure, Sophie and Jess serve as trustee directors. This is a formal governance role, designed to make sure we continue to operate in line with the trust’s principles — fairness, transparency, and employee benefit.

It’s not a management position. In fact, the EOT model exists to move away from traditional hierarchies, giving everyone the chance to contribute equally to the business.

Why we believe in this model

We chose employee ownership because it reflects our values: respect, trust, and genuine teamwork. It helps us build a culture where everyone takes ownership — not just of their work, but of the care and service we deliver to our clients every day.

When you work with Tyme4u, you’re not just working with a company — you’re working with a team of people who own what they do, and who are all equally committed to your wellbeing.
